Spellforce Complete Pack Thumbnail

Spellforce Complete Pack

Product Description - Spellforce Complete Pack SPELLFORCE COMPLETE PACK ESD. Included in the Platinum Edition are three titles: SpellForce: The Order of Dawn, SpellForce is a combination real-time strategy and role-playing video game. The game takes place in a broken world called Eo that was torn apart by a ritual called the Convocation. The ritual was performed by 13 powerful mages that in their greed for power caused the continents of the world to shatter. After the ritual only small pieces of land remain around magical towers created by the god that created the world. The pieces of land are connected by magical portals that make travel between them possible. The game features campaign mode, free game mode and multiplayer mode. To begin you have to create a character called an Avatar or choose a ready made one that represents you in the game. When creating an avatar you can choose to be a melee fighter, archer or magician and have to distribute 30 experience points among your character stats. Increasing certain stats allows you to use certain weapons and spells. After this is done you can start playing. You start as a level 1 character that has to complete quests and kill hostile game units to gain experience to rise in level. Your character is an immortal warrior called a Runewarrior created by the mages that destroyed the world to fight their wars. If your character dies in battle it will respawn at the last activated bindstone on a map. These stones are found around the maps and can be activated when your avatar is close by. To aid you in your quest you have other Runewarriors at your disposal. These include hero runes and worker runes of six races (humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, trolls and dark elves). To use them you have to control a monument where that type of unit can be trained. There are seven different monuments; a hero monument and one for each race. To gain control of a monument you have to move your avatar close by to activate it. When activating a monument of a race you first need to train workers that can gather resources for you to construct buildings and train fighting units. At the start of the campaign not all runes, units and buildings of each race are available but are gradually unlocked as you progress through the game. When your avatar rises in level you can use rune stones of higher levels that enable you to defeat tougher opponents. In the lengthy campaign you need to complete quests in order to progress. There are two types of quests; main and side quests. The main quests are essential to complete the game; side quests are optional. Quests usually involve defeating enemy encampments, certain key enemy units, finding objects or persons and defending allies. Included in the Platinum Edition are three titles: SpellForce: The Order of Dawn, SpellForce: Shadow of the Phoenix, SpellForce: Breath of Winter. {more}

Red Faction Collection

Product Description - Red Faction Collection This bundle contains Red Faction, Red Faction II and Red Faction: Guerilla. JOIN THE REVOLUTION. Lured to Mars by the Ultor Corporations promise of a better life, thousands have come to seek their fortune and work for the massive mining company. Released only a few years after the original Half-Life., Red Faction is a game that similarly tries to replicate the immersive storytelling found in Valve&39;s 1998 classic. Here the player is trying to escape from a colonized Mars where workers are treated poorly and are dying from a mysterious disease. Similar to Half Life the game has no loading screens past the initial load instead pausing periodicly to load the next area. Also similar to Half Life, the game is made up of one large complex as opposed to smaller levels. The story is divided into chapters and up until a halfway stealth section it is totally possible to walk from the players current location back to the beginning location of the game. The game&39;s claim to fame is it&39;s geo-mod technology. In short, this means that players can destroy parts of the game environment. For example, if the player keeps shooting a wall with a rocket launcher, a large hole in the wall will form which can be transformed into a tunnel if the player continues. This technology can also be used tactically by the player. For example, if a large number of enemies are walking over a bridge, the player can plant explosives on the bridge, then detonate them when enemies walk over the bridge. Another use might be if a player comes across a locked door. Instead of searching for a way to open it, if they have explosives, they can simply destroy the walls surrounding the door. Darksiders Franchise Pack Thumbnail

Darksiders Franchise Pack

Product Description - Darksiders Franchise Pack The Daksiders Franchise Pack includes Darksiders and Darksiders II. Players take control of Death, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The core gameplay is an action role-playing[2][3] hack and slash style. The game makes frequent use of interactive puzzle elements, requiring the player to think their way through a series of levers, doors, elevators, portals, etc. in order to traverse areas and reach objectives. Maps are vast and each contain open world "overworld" regions that can be explored freely on foot or by horse, along with numerous dungeons where quest objectives are generally carried out. There are main and side quests, with main and side boss fights. Worlds can be traversed via "fast-travel", whereby the player can teleport to certain map points instantly. While inside a Dungeon, the player is also allowed to fast-travel back to the overworld while saving their dungeon location for continuation later without losing progress. Death is aided by Despair, a horse that is available for use in open areas of the overworld for faster travel, and Dust, a raven that guides him to his objectives. Each is accessed with a key/button stroke. Death&39;s primary weapons are two scythes, one wielded in each hand. Secondary weapons include typical melee weapons like hammers, axes, and maces as "slow" options; "fast" options are generally gauntlet-style weapons that provide the player with claws and other bladed arm extensions, at the expense of less range and power than the slow weapons. There are several different movement options, including swimming, running along walls, and several different climbing options that are available on specially placed wooden elements, such as wall pegs and beams (players learn to recognize wood as climbing elements, in contrast to the stone that dominates most of the world&39;s structures). In the course of quests, Death also acquires "Death Grip", which operates as a grappling hook on certain objects; and "Voidwalker", which operates similarly to the Portal Gun from the Portal video game series, though it only works at certain designated locations. Other abilities like "Soul Splitter" and "Interdiction" are also acquired, which allow the player to control multiple characters to traverse puzzle areas. Health, Wrath, and Reaper resource meters display on-screen whenever they change, along with an experience meter that shows how close the player is to the next character class level. Wrath is the game&39;s mana-type system, being a resource used for special abilities. Reaper is a separate resource used only for the Reaper ability, and when full, Death can transform briefly into his grim reaper form, which is more resilient and deals more damage (graphically it is the more typical depiction of Death as a spectral figure, rather than the flesh form normally used in the game). There are eight player statistics, including a character class level that increases at various experience levels. Each new level gives the player a skill point that can be used in a skill tree that contains new abilities. Other statistics can be increased by equipping items, with each item having various stat-altering characteristics. The player&39;s inventory contains seven different pages of equipment classes (primary and secondary weapon, shoulder, armor, glove, boot, and talisman, with an additional page for quest items). New equipment can be acquired via enemy drops, looting chests, or purchasing from vendor characters. New combo moves can also be purchased from "Trainer" characters. "Stonebites", which are blue stones hidden throughout the world, can be collected (after several quests have been completed) and traded to a character named Blackroot, in groups of three, in exchange for various permanent statistic upgrades. There are three Stonebite types, and the particular combination traded determines which upgrade is received. Money is dropped by enemies and chests, and can also be acquired by selling items to vendors. Special "Possessed weapons" are rarely acquired, which provide another more unorthodox mechanic for trading in unwanted items, whereby the possessed weapon can be upgraded by "sacrificing" other lesser items to it. {more}

Codename: Panzers Bundle Thumbnail

Codename: Panzers Bundle

Product Description - Codename: Panzers Bundle This is a bundle that includes Codename: Panzers Phase I and II. CODENAME PANZERS PHASE ONE ESD. Codename: Panzers is an incredible real-time strategy thrill ride. Codename: Panzers is a World War II video game created by Hungarian game developer StormRegion. It launched in 2004 to generally favorable reviews. The series entered its second iteration in July 2005 with Codename: Panzers Phase II. A Codename: Panzers Phase III was originally planned, but no longer appears on the official website. It was followed by Codename: Panzers Cold War. The first two games of the series don&39;t work on 64-bit operating systems due to driver incompatibility of StarForce Protection, however the DRM-free versions available on GOG.com does not contain this issue. Codename: Panzers was intended to be a three-part series portrayal of various conflicts of the Second World War. The current publishing rights of the franchise belong to THQ Nordic after they acquired the intellectual property rights from the defunct publisher, cdv Software Entertainment. Like Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and, to a lesser extent, Blitzkrieg, Codename: Panzers focuses on managing groups of troops, tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery and destroying the enemy or capturing objectives. The game abstracts concepts such as supply, repair, and air support without doing away with them entirely, and belongs to the real-time tactics genre more than the traditional wargame/simulation genre. Units gain experience throughout the single-player campaigns and can be bought/upgraded between missions and added to the player&39;s personal &39;army&39; that travels with him from scenario to scenario. Completing mission requirements and optional objectives gives the player &39;Prestige&39; points, which can be accumulated to upgrade existing units or used to add new units to the player&39;s core force. Additionally, many missions provide the player with extra units to complement their core army. Also, the player is most often responsible for keeping alive a single &39;hero&39; unit. Units include a variety of infantry, armor, and artillery used by each nations&39; armed forces in World War II. While the main focus of the game is in controlling tanks, artillery units provide long range fire while infantry units can be used to engage other infantry and garrison buildings for added defense. Damage is modeled on a health bar system, although vehicles have additional armor plating to weaken before taking damage. Players are also required to maintain their vehicles using ammo and repair trucks. In addition to regular units the player can control, the game provides players with indirect fire support. In missions, players can direct a limited amount of precision dive bomber strikes, paratrooper drops, carpet bombing runs, reconnaissance planes and off-map artillery. {more}

Alan Wake Thumbnail

Alan Wake

Product Description - Alan Wake Alan Wake is a third-person action-adventure psychological horror game developed by Remedy and published by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 on May 18, 2010 (May 14 in Europe, May 20 in Australia, and May 27 in Japan). It was later ported (with help from Nitro) for the PC as both a self-published downloadable title (released via Steam in North America and Australia on February 16, 2012) and a retail title (in Europe by Nordic on March 2, 2012 and in Japan by E-Frontier on March 30, 2012). Stylized as a thriller TV series (with an "episodic" format, complete with plot twists and cliffhangers) in similar vein to the 1990 drama Twin Peaks, the game follows Alan Wake, a best-selling author of thriller novels who is suffering from severe writer&39;s block. Hoping that a vacation will calm his mind, he travels with his beloved wife Alice to the small town of Bright Falls in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. When a series of events causes Alice to mysteriously disappear into the depths of Cauldron Lake, Alan&39;s supposed writing begins to take a deadly life of its own. Using any source of light he can find, Alan must fight those "taken" by the darkness and discover the true nature of the dark presence to save his wife (and the entire town). The game later received two downloadable "special features", which serve as epilogue episodes tying the game&39;s ending with a possible sequel. These episodes ("The Signal", released on July 27, 2010, and "The Writer", released on October 10, 2010) were released for $6.99 each, and were later included in the PC version free-of-charge. The game later received a downloadable spin-off title, Alan Wake&39;s American Nightmare, for the Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade on February 22, 2012) and PC (via Steam on May 22, 2012 in North America and on June 29, 2012 in Europe). Originally a multiplatform title, the game took over five years (since its public announcement in E3 2005) to develop. During that time, the game received a new custom game engine and a Microsoft-partnered exclusivity. PC System Requirements Minimum Recommended OS: Windows XP SP2 Processor: Dual Core 2GHz Intel or 2.8GHz AMD Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics: DirectX 10 compatible with 512MB RAM DirectX: 9.0c Hard Drive: 8 GB HD space Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible OS: Windows 7 Processor: Quad Core 2.66GHz Intel or 3.2GHz AMD Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: DirectX 10 compatible or later with 1GB RAM DirectX: 10 Hard Drive: 8 GB HD space Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible {more}

Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition

Product Description - Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition A remastered port of Darksiders II known as the "Deathinitive Edition" was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2015. It was published by Nordic Games, which had acquired the rights to the Darksiders franchise following the bankruptcy of THQ. The port was developed by Gunfire Games, a studio that was founded by Darksiders creator David L. Adams following the closure of Crytek USA (which itself was established after the closure of Vigil by THQ) and consists almost entirely of Vigil staff. Along with higher-resolution graphics and a revamped lighting engine, the studio also made changes to adjust the balance of the game. The Xbox One version of the edition was announced on June 11, 2015. Vigil Games allegedly began working on the sequel just a couple of months after releasing the original Darksiders. Broken Age Thumbnail

Broken Age

Product Description - Broken Age BROKEN AGE ESD. A family friendly, hand-animated, puzzle-filled adventure game with an all-star cast, including Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Masasa Moyo. Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure game released by Double Fine Productions. The project was initially announced on February 8, 2012, through the website Kickstarter.com. Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions desired to create an old-school point-and-click adventure game, but due to lack of publisher interest in the genre, they chose to pursue funding through crowdsourcing. The Kickstarter campaign proved to be an enormous success, raised roughly ten times the project funding goal. As part of the Kickstarter project pitch, the development of the project was documented by 2 Player Productions, who created a serialized video series chronicling the process. Additionally, project backers were given access to a private community forum to offer their input on the game&39;s development. Originally planned for a release on PC through Steam, greater-than-expected funding caused Double Fine to totally rethink their plans for the game, including expanding the scope of the game and adding releases on Mac, iOS, and Android devices. Additionally added were English-language voice acting and localized text in French, Italian, German, and Spanish. The initial scope of the project predicted a release date in October of 2012, but due to the larger budget, more time is being taken to develop the game. During Episode 10 of the 2 Player Productions documentary, it was revealed that the game would actually be split into two parts in order to resolve certain funding issues that arose once the requirements of the full game&39;s scope became evident. Act 1 was released to backers on January 14, 2014 and was released to the general public on January 28, 2014. Act 2 was released on April 28, 2015. Frontlines: Fuel of War Thumbnail

Frontlines: Fuel of War

Product Description - Frontlines: Fuel of War FRONTLINES: FUEL OF WAR ESD. Frontlines: Fuel of War is an open-world First Person Shooter set on the frontlines of tomorrow. In a world ravaged by a global energy crisis, environmental decay, and economic depression Setting Frontlines: Fuel of War takes place in 2024, in a post-&39;Peak Oil&39; world with two global superpowers, the Western Coalition (the U.S.A. and the E.U.) and the Red Star Alliance, (Russia and China) battling over the last remaining sources around the Caspian. The lack of oil and failure of alternate sources to provide enough energy has exacerbated other disasters, including blackouts in 2008, avian influenza in 2009, and a global depression in 2012. (This game was made in 2008! Wake up sheeple!) The lack of oil has no in-game effect (vehicles can&39;t run out, for instance, and maps still contain the expected assortment of explosive containers.) Single-player Campaign The campaign is narrated by a journalist embedded with the &39;Stray Dogs&39;, a company in the Western Coalition force; during missions the player has control of a series of generic soldiers within the company. The campaign begins with the Stray Dogs flying in for a six-week guard in Turkmenistan at one of the last operating refineries to relieve the previous company, when they are ambushed by Red Star ("Darkness Falls"). After retaking the refinery the action moves to southern Kazakhstan ("Captains of Industry") in one of the Coalition&39;s first offensives, where the Stray Dogs take control of a Red Star tank factory and find blueprints within. The journalist discovers through his sources that China has used the opportunity to invade and take control of Taiwan, and that rioting and starvation has become an enormous problem in the USA. The Stray Dogs continue to try and block Red Star reinforcements by capturing a mountain pass in Tajikistan ("Anvil"), and the Coalition presses the advantage and advances north to the Russian border. At an old USSR space launch facility in north Kazakhstan the company is assisting an armored division when the Red Star attack them with tactical nuclear missiles; although casualties are high, enough Coalition forces survive to capture and destroy several longer-range rockets ("Graveyard"). Amidst Red Star counterattacks throughout Europe, the Coalition receives intelligence of a planned ICBM launch (described as &39;thirteen-hundred Hiroshimas&39;) in an underground mountain base, and the Stray Dogs are among those assigned to prevent it ("Mountain King"). Although ultimately successful, their abort codes fail to stop the rocket and the only option is to seal the silo doors, with the ICBM detonating inside and killing many of the Stray Dogs. The Coalition continues to advance and eventually reaches the outskirts of Moscow ("Living Quarter"), and eventually downtown Moscow ("History Repeats"). After taking several Government buildings and defending a square against the Red Star&39;s final push, the remaining Red Star forces retreat. The Stray Dogs celebrate the victory, but the reporter reminds them that China will continue to fight on... Single-player missions are broken up into several phases as the frontline &39;moves&39;, and are effectively multi-player games against (limited respawning) bots with a few scripted events. Titan Quest Gold Thumbnail

Titan Quest Gold

Product Description - Titan Quest Gold Titan Quest Gold contains Titan Quest and Titan Quest Immortal Throne. Titan Quest is a hack and slash dungeon crawler set in the mythological world of ancient Greece, Egypt, Babylon, and China. While it is very similar to Diablo 2 where you click on enemies to attack in real time, use hotkeys for potions and skills, click to move, and upgrade classes and special skills with points awarded upon level-up, Titan Quest also brings its own variations to the table. One of the most distinctive aspects of the game is the way in which it handles character classes. Instead of using a number of clear-cut archetypes, as most Action RPG&39;s do, Titan Quest allows the player to choose two sets of class skills (called Masteries) from a list of 8, essentially creating a multi-class character and, resulting in 28 possible combinations. The game also emphasizes a skill system focused on what the developers call &39;synergies&39;. These upgrades existing skills rather than simply replacing them with more powerful alternatives. The game has a strong emphasis on co-op play though it doesn&39;t de-emphasize the value of the single-player campaign. A new act was added to the game with the expansion called Immortal Throne package. Shortly after this release, Iron Lore went bankrupt due to lack of sales. A few of the original developers licensed the Titan Quest Engine and are working on its spiritual successor called Grim Dawn. Supreme Commander Gold

Product Description - Supreme Commander Gold Supreme Commander Gold is a combination of Supreme Commander & Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Chris Taylor makes his return to the Real-Time Strategy market with Supreme Commander, a spiritual successor to his previous title, Total Annihilation. Many other elements from Total Annihilation have made their way to Supreme Commander, including the return of Commander units and the ability to queue orders. Players are once again given control of a large Commander, this time called an Armored Command Unit (commonly abbreviated ACU), that is used to create their base, and acts as their character within the game world. Supreme Commander emphasizes tactical coordination and large scale conflicts. Players are given many tools to help manage their forces, which can vary from 250 to 1000 units on maps as small as five square kilometers or as large as 81 square kilometers. Up to eight players can collide in a single match, either over the internet or against AI opponents. Game times vary accordingly, with matches lasting between an hour or less and an entire day&39;s worth of gameplay, depending on the amount of units, players and the map size. In the single player aspect of Supreme Commander, players take control of an ACU under the banner of one of three separate factions within the game: the United Earth Federation, or UEF; the Cybran Nation; or the Aeon Illuminate. The campaign spans multiple missions, and often times the map size can expand multiple times throughout a mission as new objectives are revealed. In each case, players are attempting to put an end to the "Infinite War," a war that has been raging for over a millennium between the three factions. Spellforce 2: Demons Of The Past Thumbnail

Spellforce 2: Demons Of The Past

Product Description - Spellforce 2: Demons Of The Past Demons of the Past is the epic new chapter of SpellForce, the unique blend of RPG and RTS. Experience this worthy conclusion of all previous games in the SpellForce-series. The "SpellForce" series stands out from the other sequels in the series as one of the few releases attempting to fuse the role-playing game and real-time strategy genres; similar games include Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The role-playing game aspects of SpellForce 2 parallel games such as Diablo, Diablo II, and Sacred in character development, skill trees, equipment customization, and top-down isometric viewing. However, the capacity to control multiple heroes often makes the gameplay comparable to that in the Baldur&39;s Gate or Neverwinter Nights video games. The real time strategy aspects of SpellForce 2 mirror the Warcraft fantasy real time strategy games. These include the ability to control several separate factions such as "The Realm" (humans, elves and dwarves), "The Pact" (dark elves, gargoyles and shadows), and "The Clans" (orcs, trolls and barbarians). Each faction has its own individual troop and building types. SpellForce 2 has several game modes, including campaign mode (expositional), skirmish mode (real time strategy based), and free play (similar to campaign mode but without an overarching plot). SpellForce 2 can also be played cooperatively or competitively in multiplayer mode. Users can only save their progress while playing in campaign mode. The tactics for SpellForce are common to those used to successfully complete other role-playing game and real time strategy games. RPG character development requires a player to obtain experience as well as high-quality armor and weapons. In campaign play, these rewards are maximized by completing optional side-quests. Real time strategy portions of the game usually involve building a camp, which is most often defended in its infancy by the characters, then typically involves marshalling the maximum number of troops to a point of conflict. While army composition does matter, unit micromanagement does not appear to be a major factor in real time strategy success. The player can control up to six characters, and will also have the opportunity to be accompanied by one or more non-player characters. The main character, or avatar, can get to level 30, while other party members can only get to level 24. MX vs. ATV Reflex Thumbnail

MX vs. ATV Reflex

Product Description - MX vs. ATV Reflex Think fast and hang on to your ride as you take independent control of the rider and take the ultimate test of mettle. Dual controls let you tear it up with death-defying tricks and high-flying freestyle action. MX vs. ATV Reflex uses the all new Reflex engine which allows for greater control over the riders movement. As usual, the left analog stick is used to steer, but now, the right analog stick is used to shift the riders weight allowing for more precise jumping and landing. For instance, pulling the right stick back just before a jump and then pushing it forward at the exact moment the bike is leaving the ground enables the rider to jump farther. Then, when about to land the right stick can be used to adjust the way the bike is landing, making it easier to make sharp turns or land tricks effectively. The right stick is also used to do tricks while in the air. When in the air, holding down the trick button and moving the right stick in specific directions will make the rider do tricks such as windmills and back flips. Another new feature the Reflex engine brings is the ability to make ruts in the ground where you are riding. This gives the terrain the potential to change over the course of many bikes riding in the same spot, and it also allows the player to see where it is the AI controlled riders are riding if they are having trouble with a certain part of the track. More than anything though, the ruts make the game feel and look more realistic than previous entries in the series. {more}

Gothic is a 3rd person action-RPG set in a prison colony that has been taken over by its convicts. They cannot get out due to a magical barrier, but the king needs the ore from the valley for his army and so is forced to trade with them. The player is thrown into this valley for crimes unknown. Before his sentence a man asks him to take a letter, which he is to deliver to the fire mages who are trapped in the valley with the convicts... The game is relatively low on statistics, focusing instead on reflex-based combat and character interaction through dialogue. The scale of the world is modest compared to other RPGs though as a result the world is elaborately detailed (if a little sparse in visuals by today&39;s standards) and every area is uniquely crafted to be memorable and interesting. Codename: Panzers - Phase One Thumbnail

Codename: Panzers - Phase One

Product Description - Codename: Panzers - Phase One CODENAME PANZERS PHASE ONE ESD. Codename: Panzers is an incredible real-time strategy thrill ride. Codename: Panzers is a World War II video game created by Hungarian game developer StormRegion. It launched in 2004 to generally favorable reviews. The series entered its second iteration in July 2005 with Codename: Panzers Phase II. A Codename: Panzers Phase III was originally planned, but no longer appears on the official website. It was followed by Codename: Panzers Cold War. The first two games of the series don&39;t work on 64-bit operating systems due to driver incompatibility of StarForce Protection, however the DRM-free versions available on GOG.com does not contain this issue. Codename: Panzers was intended to be a three-part series portrayal of various conflicts of the Second World War. The current publishing rights of the franchise belong to THQ Nordic after they acquired the intellectual property rights from the defunct publisher, cdv Software Entertainment. Like Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and, to a lesser extent, Blitzkrieg, Codename: Panzers focuses on managing groups of troops, tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery and destroying the enemy or capturing objectives. The game abstracts concepts such as supply, repair, and air support without doing away with them entirely, and belongs to the real-time tactics genre more than the traditional wargame/simulation genre. Units gain experience throughout the single-player campaigns and can be bought/upgraded between missions and added to the player&39;s personal &39;army&39; that travels with him from scenario to scenario. Completing mission requirements and optional objectives gives the player &39;Prestige&39; points, which can be accumulated to upgrade existing units or used to add new units to the player&39;s core force. Additionally, many missions provide the player with extra units to complement their core army. Also, the player is most often responsible for keeping alive a single &39;hero&39; unit. Units include a variety of infantry, armor, and artillery used by each nations&39; armed forces in World War II. While the main focus of the game is in controlling tanks, artillery units provide long range fire while infantry units can be used to engage other infantry and garrison buildings for added defense. Damage is modeled on a health bar system, although vehicles have additional armor plating to weaken before taking damage. Players are also required to maintain their vehicles using ammo and repair trucks. In addition to regular units the player can control, the game provides players with indirect fire support. In missions, players can direct a limited amount of precision dive bomber strikes, paratrooper drops, carpet bombing runs, reconnaissance planes and off-map artillery. {more}

Spellforce 2: Gold Thumbnail

Spellforce 2: Gold

Product Description - Spellforce 2: Gold SpellForce 2 - Gold Edition presents the award-winning SpellForce saga hits: SpellForce 2 - Shadow Wars and the add-on SpellForce 2 - Dragon Storm for a spectacular game experience. Spellforce 2: Faith In Destiny

Product Description - Spellforce 2: Faith In Destiny In times of war and chaos you will assume the role of a young man, who is supposed to liberate the entire world of Eo from the new, nameless evil. Four years have passed since the Shaper was conquered by the power of the Archfire. Four years in which scientists, dragons and inventors have tried to find a way to counter the deterioration of the portal - but to no avail. The portal network has broken down and the islands are completely cut off from one another. The dragons and the Shaikan are the only interface left between the races, but their resources are limited. The new enemy has been lying low for just such a moment. The races are cut off from one another and the islands are exposed to attackers, who fall upon them from demonic depths. In the midst of this chaos a new hero enters the scenery. He is a simple Shaikan, a member of the Hand, who has embarked on a quest for answers to his deeply disturbing dreams. This quest takes him to the very roots of his race, to the Iron Fields, to the Mountain of the Patriarch Ur. It is all about his destiny, about his soul. After all it is the only thing he knows. However instead of finding answers he only finds more questions. Who are these daemonic creatures - so abysmally evil that they are known as "The Nameless"? What do the dragons know about the destiny of this world? And what does Professor Twiddle s plan to restore the portal have to do with all this? The hero is gradually coming closer to his own destiny through this journey - through conversations, through newly acquired skills and through battles fought against old and new enemies. Wherever he goes - The Nameless are one step ahead of him and an almost futile battle breaks out in which our hero holds not only his own destiny but the destiny of entire Eo in his hands. Product Description - Overclocked: A History of Violence OVERCLOCKED ESD. Set against the backdrop of a catastrophic thunderstorm raging over New York City, Overclocked explores an archetypical, yet actual condition of mankind: violence. The game begins when five amnesic college-aged teens suddenly appear with guns in the middle of New York City. Psychiatrist David McNamara from DC is sent to examine the case thanks to his previous work in the US Army dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. Right from the beginning, the case seems odd. On the first day, David discovers that all five patients had the same origins, and they were escaping from the same unknown person from an isolated military island. As the history is revealed, David, using a PDA as a tape recorder, makes his way through the teens&39; minds, piecing together their history, while at the same time dealing with his ongoing divorce. David himself has serious issues regarding anger management, which ended his former relationship. It is revealed in the end that the teens were part of a military experiment for making amnesic assassins, and David&39;s anger issues were only side effects of the previous project back in the Army. {more}
